FAE - Field Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Provide technical support to customers throughout the entire product design-in and lifecycle process for congatec software products
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through efficient and reliable 2nd level technical support
• Support the Sales organization during design-win activities and customer projects
• Prepare and conduct product workshops and trainings for customers, partners and employees
• Create, maintain and close customer support tickets using internal databases
• Manage communication between customers and 3rd level software support
• Work closely with internal departments to develop and implement customer-specific solutions
• Conduct customer visits (workshops, enablement, support) when required for customer relations and sales support
• Provide technical support at trade shows and customer-related events

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years (apporoximately 5+ years) of experience in field support within embedded computing or a similar industry
• Strong technical background in embedded systems with a focus on software
• Fluent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-initiated working style
• Good understanding of customer needs and sales-related processes
• Professional communication and presentation skills when representing the company and its products
• Ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously
• Experience working both independently and in cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using common computer tools and internal support systems
• Knowledge of relevant policies, processes and technical documentation practices
