Senior Software Engineer / Penang, Malaysia (x86, low-level, kernel)

Your Tasks

• Development and maintenance of our real-time hypervisor and bootloader for x86 platforms
• Design and implementation of Board Support Packages for various x86 real-time operating systems
• Taking over development responsibility for parts of our product
• Development of technical realization concepts/software architecture
• Specification and implementation of unit tests and test software

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / software Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in a related field
• Senior Software Developer for C and C++
• Experience with one or more operating systems 
  • as a developer (e.g., implementation of device drivers or kernel development)
  • as a user (Linux/Unix, Windows, various real-time operating systems)
• Experience in virtualization is an advantage (Intel VT-x, AMD SVM)
• Knowledge of real-time and industrial control systems is an advantage
• Security experience and training are an advantage (e.g., IEC 62443)
