Field Application Engineer (m/f/d) - (Location Ravensburg or remote)

Your tasks:

• Define customer-oriented requirements for product development
• Serve as first eye-level contact for the customer’s technical staff
• Perform detailed analyses of customer requirements and issues
• Develop specific solutions in close cooperation with our customers
• Elaborate and review application examples and user documentation
• Liaise between the customer, sales, and product management
• Prepare and conduct workshops, trainings, and technical presentations
• Design Win – work closely with sales to successfully solve customer-specific challenges
• Cooperate closely with the customer’s development department
• Implement customer’s at our company
• Build and maintain close customer relationships

Your profile:

• Degree in a technological field or comparable technical training
• Enjoy working with our worldwide customers and intercultural exchange
• Excellent communication and moderating skills
• Experience in software update processes on machines and systems
• Some experience with real-time operating systems or Windows/Linux is a plus
• Perseverance in root cause analysis of customer requirements or problems
• Solid understanding of software development processes
• Willingness to travel (locally as well as internationally)
• Advanced English skills (B2 or better) and very good German skills
• Open and communicative personality with a strong sales and customer orientation
• High degree of ownership as well as thorough problem solving skills
