Manager Global Sourcing (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

• Strategic global supplier management (boarding, development, phase-out) in alignment with company goals and other departments
• Development and implementation of global strategic product group and supplier strategies for Direct Spent & IM&S (Indirect Materials & Services)
• Definition and implementation of global cost targets and savings potentials
• Escalation responsibility for strategic sourcing (quality, pricing, availability, etc.)
• Risk identification and creation as well as implementation of risk mitigation measures
• Execution and conclusion of complex contract issues and negotiations
• Structured global reporting and responsibility for defined KPIs
• Analysis of global procurement markets and identification of new business partners
• Participation in cross-departmental projects (R&D, controlling, NPI calculation, etc.)
• Leadership (technical & disciplinary) and development of the global sourcing team
• Analysis, documentation, and improvement of the efficiency of all relevant processes

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Alternatively, a commercial training and several years of professional experience in a similar position
• Profound professional experience in strategic sourcing, ideally in the field of EMS services or electronics, as well as indirect materials & services
• Team-oriented, communicative personality with a high degree of self-responsibility, willingness to shape, and leadership experience, as well as intercultural competencies
• Negotiation expert with profound knowledge in contract and supplier management
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, as well as confident handling of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams), Power BI, and ideally experience with SAP S4/HANA
• Fluent German and business-fluent English skills in spoken and written form
