Working Student Software Qualification (m/f/d)

Objective: 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented working student to join our software qualification team. The objective of this role is to support and expand our testing efforts to ensure the functional and non-functional aspects of our conga-zones, congatec’s Real-Time Hypervisor. 

Your tasks: 

• Prepare the test hardware platforms (x86 PCs) with required general purpose operating systems (Linux and/or Windows)
• Modify the Hypervisor configuration with one or more real-time operating systems (RTOS) depending on the required scenario
• Execute manual and automated tests on multiple test platforms according to described test specification
• Update and maintain existing test cases based on updated product requirements
• Identify and describe bugs and issues using our issue management system, ensuring clear communication with the development team
• Support our engineers in evaluating and preparing new test setups, test environments, and test tools 

Your skills:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development and testing principles. Familiarity with real-time systems and hypervisors is a plus.
• Practical knowledge in installing and configuring Windows and Linux
• Basic/Intermediate knowledge of scripting languages (python/bash)
• Basic German. Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a reliable way of working
